I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Allison Parkinson to talk about, tigers, dual-heritage and the joys of self-publishing. A surprisingly eclectic mix that had me engaged from start to finish.
Allison Parkinson is a writer and children’s author who has been writing for all of her working life. She has experience in journalism, public relations, internal and external communications and is a firm believer in the benefits of writing clear and concise English.
I was interested in finding out more about how she came to writing for children and was delighted to discover that her two young girls sparked the inspiration that sees her now the author of four self-illustrated and self-published books.
